    What is an EOT Crane?

An EOT Crane (Electric Overhead Traveling Crane) is one of the most common and trusted pieces of lifting equipment found in factories and industrial plants. It runs on electricity and travels along a runway fixed at height, keeping the entire floor area below free for workers and machines. This crane is also known as a bridge crane or overhead crane. It handles heavy loads, moves them both vertically and horizontally.

How Does an EOT Crane Work?

EOT crane works on a simple but powerful principle. The Crane operates on three basic motions
that together give it full control over load movement:
Hook Up & Down (Hoisting Motion)

The hook lifts or lowers the load vertically using a hoist mechanism.

    Trolley Lateral Movement (Cross Travel)

he trolley moves left and right across the bridge girder, allowing horizontal positioning of the load.

    Long Travel (Longitudinal Motion)

The entire crane bridge moves forward and backward along the runway rails, covering the full length of the building.

    Various Types Of EOT Cranes

We build EOT Cranes in two structural types — Single Girder and Double Girder —
and both come in Top Running and Under Running options.

What is the full form of EOT Crane?

EOT stands for Electric Overhead Traveling — a crane that is powered by electricity and travels on a fixed overhead runway inside a facility.

Single girder has one bridge beam and works well for lighter loads and standard duty. Double girder has two beams, handles heavier loads, gives more hook height, and suits high-frequency lifting operations.

Yes, we offer custom-engineered cranes. Span, capacity, duty class, hook height, bay conditions — all of it is factored in at the design stage.

Yes. We support installation, offer annual maintenance contracts, and stock spare parts so you are never waiting when something needs attention.

Price depends on capacity, span, height, and features. Single girder is cheaper, double girder costs more. Contact us for the exact price.
